PLAYER CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM
We created our own Player Classification system to help balance our tournament scene and make for enjoyable/fun events for everyone. This helps new players get involved and learn how wicked the sport of competitive Laser Tag really is.

For 2026 there are a total of FIVE different ranks that players can achieve. Ranks are increased based off tournament and league placings of players. Each tournament/league season will have a different set of roster restrictions to help keep the event fair and fun for all. Our sport is still very new and growing and the end goal is always providing a way for new players to come in and have a good experience.

At the end of each year, the final rankings of players determines where they will begin the following year at for their ranking position. You can view the official rankings for 2026 by clicking the button below.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Below are some commonly asked questions about the ranking system

What if I've never played before? What rank am I?
Any player who joins the competitive Laser Tag scene starts out as a RECRUIT ranked player. Where you're new you don't have any restrictions so no worries at all!

Are roster restrictions for teams in Tournaments and League always the same?
As the year progresses and players earn/level up the ranks, the roster restrictions will change for each tournament and league seasons. Simply check the Tournament/League web page or view the Tournament Rules Pack for the official details.

If I'm a RECRUIT player, can I play with/against higher ranked players?
Absolutely! It is highly encouraged to play with some experienced players to help you with the game. There will likely be other experienced players in each tournament but with our roster restrictions our aim is to provide a balanced and fun experience for all.

I want to connect more with players in the competitive scene, how can I do do?
The biggest thing players can do is regularly attend Open/Advanced Play sessions to meet and connect with other players in the community. We also have a very active Discord* server where players can chat, view tournament info, and get general advice on gameplay. Link is available at the top of our website banner or email/message us on any of our social platforms.
*Minors, be sure to ask your parents before you join. Our server is moderated to create a safe and welcoming environment but as with any social platform, we want to ensure parents are involved
