League Format​

• Divisions​​

  • New for 2025, there will be two divisions in the league for the regular season, with the two divisions coming together for the League Playoffs​

  • Competitive Division

    • Made for teams / players with extensive tournament experience (full guidelines in the Official League Rules pdf above)​

  • Recruit Division

    • Made for teams / players with minimal or no tournament experience (full guidelines in the Official League Rules pdf above)​

• The ALTL runs over the course of 3 regular season event dates and a final playoff session at the end of regular season play.​​

• Teams​​

  • Up to 5 Teams per division
    • Minimum 4 teams required per division for league to operate​
  • Up to 7 rostered players per team (Active 4 players on field, can switch players between matches)​

 

Entry & Prizing

• $750 + hst Entry per team

  • EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT ACTIVE UNTIL JUN 1st

  • Registration includes x4 CUSTOM TEAM JERSEYS designed by Kreate Visuals​

    • Additional jerseys may be purchased if teams have +4 players on roster​

    • Teams will be contacted once registered for their chosen color options for their jersey

    • Includes player name and number on the back

Regular Season Format

• Teams double round robin within their division in a MATCH

  • A regular season match consists of FIVE individual games of Laser Tag

  • Every game mode won during the series counts as 1 point in the MATCH

    • Team with most points is determined the winner of the MATCH. In the event of a tie during the series, it is counted as so and teams move onto the next game. 

    • If at the end of the series the teams are tied (ex. 2-2 with one game being a tie) it counts as a tie for series points awards

• Every MATCH won awards 3 Points to a teams Season Standing Points.

  • A tie results in both teams earning 1 Point to their Season Standing Points​

  • +/- will be tracked for tie breakers for determining who makes playoffs

Playoffs

• ​Top 3 teams from each division advance to the playoffs which is a DOUBLE ELIMINTION format bracket
  • Teams ranked 1st in each division automatically advance to the second round of the competition​
• Each round in the playoffs is a Best of 5 using the standard VETO and Game Mode Pool selection format
  • The Grand Finals is a Best of 7 series is the only variation to this format​
