League Format​

• Divisions​​

  • Open Division​

    • NEW for this season only is the OPEN DIVISION. This is a hybrid division that brings together teams and players across the previous RECRUIT and COMPETITIVE divisions to showcase the top talent in competitive Laser Tag.​

• The ALTL runs over the course of 3 regular season event dates and a final playoff session at the end of regular season play.​​

    • Event 2 - ​Saturday October 31st, 2026

• Teams​​

  • Up to 5 Teams per division
    • Minimum 3 teams required per division for league to operate​
  • Up to 7 rostered players per team (Active 4 players on field, can switch players between matches)​

 

Entry & Prizing

• $750 + hst Entry per team​

  • Registration includes x4 CUSTOM TEAM JERSEYS designed by Kreate Visuals​​​

    • Teams will be contacted once registered for their chosen color options for their jersey

    • Includes player name and number on the back​

  • Additional jerseys may be purchased if teams have +4 players on roster​

• Awards (League Wide Awards)

  • Top Eliminations for season

  • Top K/D for season

  • Top Objective for season

  • MVP Award for season

  • Top Impact Player

 

Regular Season Format

• Teams play a 6 Regular Season Matches

  • A regular season match consists of up to SEVEN individual games of Laser Tag

  • Every game mode won during the series counts as 1 point in the MATCH

    • Team with most points is determined the winner of the MATCH. In the event of a tie during the series, it is counted as so and teams move onto the next game. 

    • Even if teams have lost the MATCH, all 5 game modes in the series will be played out to help defend +/- for teams standings for win/loss of game modes

    • If at the end of the series the teams are tied (ex. 2-2 with one game being a tie) it counts as a tie for series points awards

    • If a team wins 5 of the 7 possible games, the series ends immediately

• Every MATCH won awards 3 Points to a teams Season Standing Points.

  • A tie results in both teams earning 1 Point to their Season Standing Points​

  • +/- will be tracked for tie breakers for determining who makes playoffs

Playoffs

• DOUBLE ELIMINTION format bracket
  • 1st plays 4th
  • 2nd plays 3rd
  • 1st Place team from regular season also receives perks
    • Denies opposing teams VETOs and can rearrange game modes​
• Each round in the playoffs is a Best of 5 using the 2.0 VETO system with game modes being predetermined
  • The Finals of each bracket is a Best of 7 series is the only variation to this format​
