MARCH BREAK LASER TAG TRAINING CAMP
The March Break Training Camp is back again for another round of helping young athletes develop and refine their skills. Over the past two years we have developed and refined our Laser Tag experience to offer a truly unique alternative sport that is found nowhere else.
NEW for 2026, we are able to expand our dates and increase the camp duration to run for 3 days to help give more time for development of skills!
With over 15 years experience in competing/coaching within tournament Paintball, we are excited to bring this expertise to our sport of Laser Tag to give an opportunity to help individuals in our local community grow all while having fun.
Our camp focuses on core skills such as effective communication, teamwork, and leadership and works through practical scenarios to demonstrate these skills in action. Attendees will be provided constructive feedback as both individuals and a team to encourage a positive desire for growth. A big focus with our camp is also positive mindset focus. Understanding how to lose and grow from the experiences is a key takeaway we want to offer attendees.

The Camp is open to all ages and skill levels and DOES NOT REQUIRE PLAYERS TO BE BEGINNERS. 2024/2025 Attendees are also absolutely welcome and will be able to build upon their skills, foundational skills are always something players should be ready to continue developing.
OF NOTE this camp is designed to teach players about competitive Laser Tag and prepare them as athletes to be able to compete in the various events that we host throughout the year (standalone tournaments, and our League). Players will be playing games during the camp but this is a teaching focused camp to develop skills in a fun and welcoming environment.
Recommended for ages 9 and above. Note that kids aged 10 and under require a parent to remain on site.

THE SCHEDULE

Day 1 - Movement / Field Positioning / Tagger Skills / Scrims & Analysis
WED MARCH 18/25 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Day 2 - Player Roles & Mindset / Communication / Gameplay Scrims & Analysis
THURS MARCH 19/25 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Day 3 - Teamwork Principles / Game Mode Overview / Gameplay Scrims & Analysis
Each session will consist of the following generalized format
Introduction/Warm Up
Introduction / Review of Previous Session
Skills / Lessons
Practice Drills of Skills Learned
4v4 Scrims
Attendees will be checked into the Training Camp and a receive a quick overview on the skills they will learn. A physical warm up will then be performed to get ready for the first phase of the day.
Players will be coached on the lessons set for the day which includes both practical and theoretical teachings. Players will follow along with and then demonstrate with feedback coming from the coach to help guide them along.
Players will be coached on the lessons set for the day which includes both practical and theoretical teachings. Each day will have a different set of lessons with the previous days lessons being used as building blocks as we move through the curriculum of the training camp.
Attendees will move into drills upon the completion of the lesson to help practice their skills in real-time with constructive support and feedback being given for players.
Upon the completion of the days lessons and corresponding drills, players will break into groups of 4 and run scrimmages to put their teachings to work. Players will be monitored with at times gameplay being stopped to give feedback and help players utilize the skills they have learned during the camp
