TOURNAMENT RULES AND FORMAT

Event Information

• SATURDAY FEB 15th @ Cougar Dome​

  • Arrival time of 8:45am with games starting at 9:10am

  • Scheduled end time of 2:30PM for the finals (may end earlier)

• Up to 10 Teams Total

  • 6 players per team (Active 4 players on field, can switch players between games)

  • ONE (1) ELITE Ranked Player per team

    • If a players name is not listed here, they are ranked as RECRUIT

Format

• Prelims

  • 8-10 Teams

    • Teams split into two brackets consisting of 4-5 teams each

      • Teams play Triple Round Robin consisting of 3 round within their bracket with fixed game modes per round

        • Round 1 - TDM Hardcore

        • Round 2 - Domination

        • Round 3 - King of the Hill

• Quarter Finals (if 9-10 teams)

  • 3-6 place seeds advance to Quarter Finals

    • Seeded Knockout Bracket is formed

    • Best of 3 system with 5 game pool veto

• Semis

  • Winning Teams from Quarter finals advance to semi finals

    • Teams 1/2 from Prelims advance to Semis

    • Seeded Knockout Bracket is formed

    • Best of 5 system with 5 game pool veto

• Finals

  • Best of 5 system with 5 game pool veto

 

Prelim Scoring

• Scoring

  • Each round win awards 3pts

  • Each round tie awards 1pt to both teams

  • Each round loss awards 0pts

• Tiebreaker for top 4/6 cut

  • Point differential will be tracked for teams to serve as a tiebreaker for advancement to semis

  • In the event that there is still a tie between two teams with point differential in play, a best of three 1v1 match will be held

    • Each team must pick one player to play each round with no repeating players

    • 1v1 rounds are 1 minute in length and result in a draw if no player is eliminated

 

Game Mode Pool

  • TDM Hardcore

    • Limited Lives (3 Lives per Player)

    • Eliminate the enemy team to score

    • 5 Min Time Limit 

    • Most Eliminations at end of round or fully eliminate opposing team for Victory

  • Team Elimination

    • 25 Eliminations to win​

    • Eliminate the enemy team to score

    • 5 Min Time Limit

    • Most Eliminations at end of round or fully eliminate opposing team for Victory

  • Domination

    • Control the objective boxes and eliminate players to score

    • 5 Min Time Limit (Or highest score at end of round)

    • 500 Point Limit for Victory

  • VIP

    • Protect your designed VIP Player and eliminate opposing teams VIP to score

    • 5 Min Time Limit (Or highest score at end of round)

    • 3 VIP Eliminations for Victory

  • Single Flag

    • Capture neutral flag to score

    • 5 Min Time Limit (Or Most Captures at end of round)

    • 3 Flag Capture for Victory

  • King of the Hill

    • Control the central objective and eliminate players to score

    • 5 Min Time Limit (Or highest score at end of round)

    • 300 Point Limit for Victory

  • VIP Extraction​

    • Teams must escort their VIP to one of two central site locations to score

    • 5 Minute Time Limit

    • First to 300 Points
